Apex College organized its Systematic Management Application and Reinforcement Techniques (SMART) program on 16 December, 2016. Apex College has been conducting different programs that facilitate learning. As an integral part of reinforcing practical knowledge and its application in the classroom learning, students complete a project on a specific topic under the SMART Program. SMART is a unique semester long co-curricular activity during which students work on various industrial and social issues and prepare a report and presentation in the college.
Over 750 students from all undergraduate programs participated in the program that took over 3 months of rigorous preparation. Areas covered included review of various movies relevant to management, review and understanding social issues pertaining to Nepal and review of fortune 500 companies. The students were mentored by the faculty members and MBA students of Apex College. “Students from all programs equally benefit from SMART as it bridges the gap between them.
Organizing SMART is a proud opportunity we are thankful for” says Mr. Mahendra Bashyal, Manager of the organizing team and student of Apex MBA. Students of undergraduate programs believe that SMART has added to their learning experience at Apex and built confidence and public speaking skills. “The rigor of three months have paid off as we have successfully completed our presentations today and winning this award of Best presenter has been a great achievement” voices Mr. Pranjal Raj Ghimire, student of BBA and winner of the best presenter award at the program. Total 17 students were awarded the best presenter title from a pool of over 750 students. SMART is a regular event at Apex conducted every semester that aims at instilling integrity and excellence through innovative education. Apex College offers management programs namely, BBA, BBA Travel Tourism, BCIS, BBA Banking and Insurance, MBA and MBA Evening.
