The BBA-Travel and Tourism is a four-year, 123 credit-hour program of Pokhara University. The curriculum develops your understanding of businesses, the overall business environment, and contemporary management methods. It also offers a number of opportunities to strengthen your management skills: in communication, interpersonal, leadership, IT and research skills, which are imperative for succeeding in today’s global environment. You will then specialise in the area of travel and tourism. During the program, you are required to complete one internship and one major project work. Finally, you need to select and complete two courses as electives to graduate from the BBA-Travel and Tourism program.

CONCENTRATION

You can select any two courses, equivalent to six credit hours, from the concentration areas offered by the university.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 12 years of formal schooling
  • CGPA of 1.8 (on a 4.0 point scale) or 45 percent grades (minimum Grade ‘D’ on individual subjects) in any +2 stream

  • Computer-based test (Gade 9 & 10 General Math and English | 1.5 hrs)
  • Essay writing (Handwritten | 30 mins)
  • In-person interview
