BCIS is a four-year, 126 credit hours curriculum of Pokhara University that integrates the perfect blend of IT and management. The curriculum aims to integrate the concepts and practices of management with information systems and technology. It prepares you to develop a complete and integrated management information system required by today’s organizations to make informed decisions on time. The curriculum introduces you to the contemporary concepts, issues, and practices of management, and leads you to enhance your knowledge and skills of information systems and technology which you need to develop a management information system.
The curriculum focuses on hundred percent of the IT educational practices and courses whereas forty percent of the management approaches and applications. In this duration of four years, you will learn about programming, networking, database management and designing that'll fuel their knowledge in regards to the global arena of information technology.
The curriculum also offers you an opportunity to select two elective courses, equivalent to 6 credit hours, to meet your personal interest and career aspiration. Apart from coursework, you are also required to complete one internship, one major project (3 credits) and two minor projects (1 credit and 2 credits) to graduate from the BCIS program. Furthermore, the program introduces you to a variety of learning labs associated with all incorporated subjects. We also provide students with the credit transfer facilities that are highly acceptable in the master's program abroad.

- a minimum 12 years of formal schooling
- CGPA of 2.0 (in 4.0 point scale) or 45 percent (a minimum Grade ‘C’ at individual subjects of 11&12)) in +2 in any stream are eligible
