Apex MBA Team organized “Apex Entrepreneurship Development Program” from August 3 to 11, 2016 with the major objectives to impart basic managerial knowledge and understanding on entrepreneurship, and develop necessary entrepreneurial skills among the participants. The eight-day workshop saw the participants involve in classroom learning, product selling, and experiential learning for idea incubation to idea execution.

First day of the program featured a video reflecting experiences and learning from last year’s program and guest lecture on entrepreneurship followed by a case study session pertaining to business ethics. As the second day saw a presentation on Social Entrepreneurship and product confirmation for selling day, third day was marked as the Selling Day. The participants got a platform to exhibit ideas, creativity and innovation, and plan to design and sell the products on the day. Company visit, idea pitching, and loan approval were the major attractions during day four to six. Marked as “Prototype Day,” seventh day was focused on product prototype. With six participating teams and more than 500 visitors, the day turned out to be a huge success.

Finally, the respective teams presented on the business model canvas of their ideas on the closing day. Addressing the event, Vinay Sharma, Director of Academic Affairs and Kishore Dhungana, Associate Director, MBA, thanked and congratulated the organizers and the participants for designing such a wonderful program.
