Apex College signs MOUs with Mero Lagani and Naasa Securities: Students to get stock-market training from the companies

In recent years, more and more Nepalis have begun to get involved in the country’s share market. At Apex College, we would like to give our students an added advantage by providing them avenues to gain real-life experience in the capital market. We have therefore signed MOUs with Mero Lagani (Nepal’s leading capital-market information and engagement portal) and Naasa Securities (Nepal’s market-leading stock-brokerage firm) whereby our students will be able to work closely with the two companies.

As per the terms of the MOU, Apex students will avail of the following, to start with: Apex students will have priority placements for internships at both companies; the companies will provide Apex students in-depth share-market training; all interested Apex students will be enrolled in Mero Lagani’s stock-market simulation programme.

“We are elated with the signing of the MOUs,” says Deepak Adhikari, BBA-BI programme head at Apex College. “Owing to this alliance, our students will learn from Nepal’s top-tier professionals the nitty gritty of investing in the share market–even before they graduate–and also gain the experience that is so essential to becoming a player in the share market. Providing opportunities such as these, across the business sector, is what sets apart Apex College in Nepal’s education sphere.”
